The Familial Cancer Clinic

This clinic accepts health care professional trainees at all levels, as well as genetic counselling students for clinical rotations. In our clinic, trainees are welcome to participate in pedigree drawing, risk assessment and patient counselling. Students gain an in-depth knowledge of cancer genetic syndromes, the different patterns of inheritance and how to appropriately refer patients to our clinic.

The High Risk Breast Clinic

This clinic accepts medical students and residents for electives. This provides an opportunity to learn more about breast cancer risk assessment, follow up of women at increased risk of breast cancer and the psychosocial issues faced by women in high-risk families.

Our Cancer Prevention Program also accepts medical students in the University of Toronto Determinants of Community Health Course.
