About us
We provide consultation, diagnosis and treatment services including surgery for a wide variety of cancers.
Each major cancer site or organ system has its own team and its own multidisciplinary cancer conference (MCC) or tumour board. Cases are discussed at these weekly conferences and an individualized plan of management is developed.
Minimally invasive surgical oncology (laparoscopic surgery)
We have two state-of-the-art laparoscopic suites in our operating rooms. Laparoscopic surgery, when relevant, is available for the following areas:
- Gynecologic oncology
- Colorectal cancer
- Patient education video: Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS)
- Liver surgery
- Urologic oncology

Referrals
We are a highly specialized referral centre for the following:
- Laparoscopic gynecologic malignancies, with specific expertise in fertility preservation for cervical cancer, and sentinel lymph node biopsy alone in cervix and vulvar cancers.
- Pelvic malignancies, such as rectal cancer, bladder cancer, ovarian and uterine cancers (these malignancies often require pelvic exenterations & multiple surgical specialists, entero-stomal therapists and multi-disciplinary team care)
- Liver and pancreatic cancers
