D5 Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Unit

D5 is a 38-bed orthopaedic and neurosurgical unit. Patients are admitted from the pre-admission centre, emergency department, critical care units and peripheral hospitals.

We care for orthopaedic patients who have limb fractures, including spine surgery and pelvic fractures. Our neurosurgical work includes evacuation of hematomas and excision of tumors.
