Fetal assessment / ultrasound

A fetal ultrasound is a procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to view internal organs and produce images of the human body and your fetus. Ultrasounds are noninvasive (does not penetrate skin) and are used to diagnose the fetus at various stages of your pregnancy.

Clinic appointments are by referral only, and will be booked between Mondays and Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Fetal echocardiogram clinic

A fetal echocardiogram is an ultrasound test performed during pregnancy to evaluate the heart of the unborn baby. It is not necessary for all pregnancies to be screened with a fetal echocardiogram. This ultrasound, which is booked by referral only, may be done any time after the 18th week of the pregnancy.

Clinic appointments by referral will be scheduled on Wednesday mornings.
