Ru Taggar is the Executive Vice President, Chief Nursing and Health Professions Executive at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Ru provides professional leadership to nurses and other regulated health professionals across the organization, as well as executive leadership to the Tory Trauma Program, DAN Women & Babies Program, Schulich Heart Program and the Holland Bone & Joint Program.

Dr. Gideon Cohen, a cardiologist and chief of cardiac surgery at the Schulich Heart Program, is a world-renowned researcher and a leader in minimally invasive valvular and aortic surgery.
Dr. Harindra Wijeysundera, an interventional cardiologist and clinician scientist at the Schulich Heart Program, is an expert in transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), a minimally invasive procedure for patients who cannot withstand open-heart surgery.
