Sunnybrook Nuclear Testing Business As Usual

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre would like to inform its patients that medical imaging tests for all patients are being performed on their regular course and there are no delays in scheduled scans or tests.

"We want to assure our patients that they can expect to receive their scheduled tests at Sunnybrook in light of recent cancellations by other healthcare facilities across the country," says Dr. Linda Rabeneck, head of the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

"Sunnybrook is not affected by the shutdown of reactor supplies being experienced by many other healthcare facilities across the country as Sunnybrook uses a different supplier," says Asha Ahmed, charge technologist in Nuclear Medicine at Sunnybrook.
