Renal program expansion cancelled

In the provincial budget released this week, the Ontario government announced the cancellation of a number of hospital capital redevelopment projects and unfortunately, the much needed expansion of Sunnybrook's renal program was on this list. This project included new space for both hemodialysis and home dialysis.

Although we are disappointed with this news, we remain committed to providing the best possible care to our patients and will continue to do so in our existing space while we quickly formulate alternate plans for the future. Thank you for your understanding.
