Sunnybrook achieves high ranking among the top hospitals worldwide
Sunnybrook has ranked #2 in Canada, and #30 worldwide, in Newsweek's annual World's Best Hospitals 2024 list. This is the sixth consecutive year Sunnybrook has been included on this list. The ranking, which is managed by Newsweek and respected global data research firm Statista Inc., is based on four data criteria:
- recommendations from medical experts
- results from patient satisfaction surveys
- hospital quality metrics that include quality of care for patients, hygiene, safety and waiting times
- use of patient reporting tools to measure their health goals, care, treatment and recovery progress
