Sunnybrook Foundation marks the first evening of Hanukkah

Sunnybrook Foundation marked the first evening of Hanukkah with the symbolic lighting of the first candle on the Menorah in the M-wing lobby on Tuesday, December 4. This event was an important opportunity for the Foundation to recognize and celebrate the diversity of Sunnybrook's staff, patients and visitors.

Rabbi Ronald Weiss of the Jewish Family Services lit the first candle on the Menorah and told the gathered crowd a short history on the celebration of Hanukkah.

A candle on the Menorah will be lit each evening from December 4 - 12 in the M-wing lobby.
