Do I Need Medication After the Operation?
- Your doctor may order pain medication to take when you need it. Call your doctor if this does not take away your pain. Being comfortable promotes healing.
- Do not drink alcohol while taking pain medication.
- A stool softener will be ordered. Walking or rocking may help to relieve gas pains.
