Monday, August 26, 2024 Sunnybrook-led multicentre trial finds tranexamic acid increases postoperative complications in patients undergoing liver resection
Findings of the HeLiX Randomized Clinical Trial demonstrate that among patients undergoing liver resection for a cancer-related indication, tranexamic acid did not reduce bleeding or blood transfusion but increased perioperative complications.
