Road closures: Holland Orthopaedic & Arthritic Centre

June 20, 2016

Please give yourself some extra time if you are travelling to the Holland Centre at 43 Wellesley Street East this weekend, as there will be road closures in the area surrounding the hospital. These closures are for the pre-Pride Village Festival ‘Circus So Gay!’

Closures will begin 9 a.m. on Saturday June 25, 2016, and end at 2 a.m. on Monday, June 27. During this time, Church Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from the south side of Gloucester to the south side of Wood Street.

Visitors, patients and staff members will be able to access the Holland Centre via Yonge Street.

Other road closures in the area include:

  • A closure on Wellesley approximately 150’ east of Church Street, to the alleyway approximately 150’ west of Church Street. The remaining portion of Wellesley Street will be open to local traffic only. This includes Holland Centre patients, visitors and staff members.

  • Wood Street will be closed from approximately 150’ east of Church Street to approximately 150’ west of Church Street.

  • Alexander Street will be closed from approximately 150’ east of Church Street to approximately 150’ west of Church Street.

  • Maitland Street will be closed from approximately 150’ east of Church Street to approximately 150’ west of Church Street (alleyways will remain accessible). Maitland Street will be converted into a temporary two-way street.

  • Dundonald Street and Monteith Street will be closed at Church Street.

All closures will re-open to vehicle traffic on Monday, June 27th at 2:00 a.m.

More information on the road closures can be found on the Church-Wellesley website.
