Welcome, Dr. Rachel Walsh!

Please help us welcome Dr. Rachel Walsh to our practice as a staff physician starting in February 2020.

Dr. Walsh completed her MD at the University of Calgary and her residency training through the University of Toronto at the Scarborough Hospital site. Her most recent clinical work as part of Clinician Scholar Program was at the Mount Sinai Academic Family Health Team. Dr. Walsh’s master’s work has been focused on the role of primary care during breast cancer chemotherapy.

Dr. Walsh will be joining South Team working with Dr. Debbie Elman for four clinics a week and will be working to strengthen our department’s research mandate as she puts her clinician scholar training into practice.
