Veterans Program spotlight: Volunteers
After the pandemic was declared in 2020, while families were unable to visit, volunteers created and wrote thousands of greeting cards for residents and patients, reminding them they were thought of and remembered. They also donated hundreds of books, creating a library for residents until the Toronto Public Library could re-open.

We are grateful for volunteers like Georgia for their willingness to return in May 2021, and adapt to an uncertain and changing environment. Volunteers have helped our teams do their work more easily and improve the pandemic experience for residents.
