Former knee patient to swim across Lake Ontario

July 24, 2013

Please join Sunnybrook in cheering on Kim Lumsdon this Friday as she aims to become the oldest woman to swim across Lake Ontario.

The former Holland Centre knee replacement patient has made the crossing before: in 1976 at age 19, she was the 11th person to complete the swim in a time of 21 hours and 27 minutes.

Thirty-seven years and two new knees later, 56-year-old Kim hopes to do it again.

Best of luck to Kim — we are all rooting for you!
