We are very pleased to recognize Sunnybrook nurses who have been nominated for both the 2013 Nightingale and Nursing Heroes Awards.

Sunnybrook nurses nominated for the 2013 Nightingale Award:

This year 12 Sunnybrook nurses were nominated for the Toronto Star Nightingale AwardThis award is presented each year to an Ontario nurse nominated for recognition by their patients or peers. The recipient and honourable mentions are selected by a panel of representatives from the Star and Ontario's nursing associations.

Nursing Heroes is an award that recognizes nursing heroes within organizations or communities highlighting exceptional work that nurses do and how they touch lives. Stories/letters are submitted each year by patients or patients' family members, colleagues or managers.
