This issue of the newsletter highlights the winners of the 2007-08 Department awards for teaching, research, mentoring and leadership. It is inspiring to see the talent of our faculty members—we are all proud of their accomplishments. This year we are starting a new celebration which we will hold each fall. On November 12, the Department will host a special event at the Vaughan Estate.
