Board of directors

Carey Diamond is Founding Partner of Whitecap Venture Partners. He continues to be a member of the Board of Directors of various companies in which Whitecap has played an important developmental role.

Carey is currently a Board member of the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Foundation. He served for many years as Board member and Vice Chair of both Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and The Baycrest Centre. He chaired the Capital Projects Committee at Sunnybrook and the Strategic Planning Committee at Baycrest. He served on numerous committees at Sunnybrook including the Critical Incident Review Committee, the Business Relationship Management Committee and the Patient Care Committee. He is currently a member of the Executive Committee at the Sunnybrook Foundation. He is past Treasurer and former Board member of Kids Help Phone.

Carey holds an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario. He is married to Tina Urman and they have three children.
