Andrew Duncan is RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust’s Chief Investment Officer. He joined RioCan as an Assistant Vice President of Development in May of 2013. Prior to joining RioCan, Andrew held development roles at Lowe’s Home Improvement Canada and Stantec. Andrew oversees RioCan’s investment transactions and development pipeline to optimize their property portfolio for future growth opportunities. He brings a balanced knowledge of construction, planning, and financial analysis that allows him to responsibly manage RioCan’s developments, while leveraging expertise in all asset classes and deal structures to maximize returns.

Andrew is a member of the Board of Governors for the University of Guelph since 2019 and serves on the Board of Trustees and Physical and Digital Infrastructure Committee. He is also a member of the BILD Board of Directors since 2019, serving on the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.

Andrew is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Guelph.

Andrew joined Sunnybrook Hospital Capital Projects Building Committee in 2021 as a Community Representative and became a member of the Board in June 2023.
