- M.A. in Bioethics and Public Policy
- Law degree, (J.D.) (and was called to the bar)
- Completed a one year fellowship in Clinical & Organizational Ethics in 2007 through the University of Toronto, Joint Centre for Bioethics
- Completed a Senior Ethics Fellowship with Joint Centre for Bioethics partner, Trillium Health Centre
