Program: Minimally invasive surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology

• Full-time active staff since April 2005 in obstetrics and gynaecology with a subspecialty in advanced laparoscopic surgery
• Completed a fellowship in advanced gynecologic endoscopic surgery though the AAGL (American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists) in 2004
• Completed a master of science in physiology in 1994
• Co-director of the AAGL fellowship training program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (only one of two AAGL training programs in Canada)
• Focus on laparoscopic hysterectomies, laparoscopic fibroid surgery and laser surgery for endometriosis
• Education interest in surgical training of fellows, residents and medical students
