Clinical Profile:

Dr. Gregory Choy (MD, FRCP) is the head of the Division of Rheumatology within the department of medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and an assistant professor at the University of Toronto.

He graduated from medical school at the University of Toronto. After internal medicine training at the University of Saskatchewan, he completed training in adult rheumatology and the Master Teacher Program at the University of Toronto.

Education is his primary academic focus. His teaching portfolio spans pre-clerkship, clerkship, postgraduate and continuing education. Current major educational roles include co-chair of CPD subcommittee of the Canadian Rheumatology Association.

Crystal arthropathy (gout and calcium phosphate) is an area of particular clinical interest.
