Education Profile:

Dr. Carla Findlater, PharmD, is a clinical pharmacist and education coordinator for pharmacy learners at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Through her affiliations with the University of Toronto Faculty of Pharmacy and University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy, Carla has served as preceptor and mentor to various learners, including pharmacy students, residents and Masters candidates. Her focus is on developing a practice whereby students, both pharmacy and interprofessional, learn together and from each other in paired and near-peer experiences.

Carla has also served as Faculty on multiple occasions for the Neonatal Advanced Practice Nursing Forum in Washington D.C. She has been awarded the Professional Advisory Committee Clinical Teaching/Supervisor Award from the Peters-Boyd Academy, University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine and has been nominated for the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience Program Preceptor of the Year Award through University of Toronto Faculty of Pharmacy.
