Rosine is a strong advocate of feeding fragile preterm infants their own mothers’ milk and believes that the interactions between families and their infants (via provision of breast milk, breastfeeding, Kangaroo care, etc.) are the most important foundations impacting long-term outcomes.

Research Profile:

Rosine is involved in multiple practice based research and quality improvement projects within the NICU that have translated into clinical practice changes. Most recently, Rosine recruited and collected breast milk samples and data for the “Necrotizing Enterocolitis and the Benefits of Breastfeeding” multi-site study.
