Community walk-in clinics – locations

Walk-in clinics provide treatment for urgent, but non-life threatening illnesses or injuries like infections, earaches, coughs, rashes, cuts and fevers. 

We encourage you, if possible, to have your health-care needs met in the community, through your family doctor, at a walk-in clinic or through the virtual emergency department.

Toronto’s Virtual Emergency Department

Toronto’s Virtual Emergency Department provides same-day virtual urgent care to people experiencing an urgent but not life-threatening medical problem. Available seven days a week.

Here are some other tips for avoiding a hospital visit:

• Make sure medical equipment (oxygen tanks, asthma inhalers, and so on) are in good working condition
• Get non-urgent medical advice through Health811 by calling 811 (TTY: 1-866-797-0007) or visiting Ontario.ca/health811
