In the Brain medicine clinic, we assess patients with complex brain disorders impacting affect, behaviour and/or cognition (ABC). Examples include (but are not limited to) neurodegenerative disease with neuropsychiatric complications, functional neurological disorder and epilepsy with neuropsychiatric manifestations. We offer a comprehensive approach to diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management, integrating the latest medical advancements and technologies to optimize patient outcomes. We use an interdisciplinary lens with input from neurology and psychiatry with other Brain Medicine related disciplines as needed (PM&R, geriatrics, neurosurgery). |

Eligibility Criteria |
Catchment: Ontario Age: 18 years and older Diagnosis: -Presence of Complex Brain Disorder, defined as a chief complaint(s) that involves at least two out of three of the Affect, Behaviour and Cognition domains (ABC) -Screened as likely to require access to at least two Brain Medicine related specialties |
