Sleep Medicine Clinic

Clinic Scope

Sleep disorders diminish sleep quality and impact overall health and well-being. Common sleep disorders include sleep apnea, insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, narcolepsy, and restless legs syndrome. There are important interactions between sleep and cognition, heart disease and stroke, mental health, pregnancy, arthritis, diabetes, and many other medical conditions.

Our team of sleep medicine experts specialize in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders to help you achieve better sleep and improve your health. We offer comprehensive evaluations, sleep studies, and personalized treatment plans.

Sunnybrook is home to a state-of-the-art clinical, research, and teaching sleep centre. We were the first sleep clinic in Toronto to focus on neurological aspects of sleep medicine, since expanding expertise to include neurology, respirology and psychiatry. Our sleep centre is based within the Clinical Neurophysiology program at Sunnybrook. We are currently receiving referrals from across Ontario and beyond.
