Ambulatory Patient Pharmacy
Services we offer
Medication review (MedsCheck©)
- A medication review helps you take your medication safely. We offer one-on-one pharmacist consultations to help you get the most out of your medication therapy. If you take three or more prescription medications for chronic conditions, you are eligible to receive a free annual medication assessment as part of the Ontario MedsCheck Program. Speak with your pharmacist to discuss:
- What medications (including over-the-counter drugs and herbal therapies) you are taking
- How they work together and possible side effects
- How to avoid interactions
- How to use inhalers, devices, etc.
- Our pharmacy staff includes Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE)® and Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacists (BCGP)® who are happy to answer any questions you have about your medication.
Smoking cessation counselling
- Thinking about quitting smoking? In addition to one-on-one counselling, our pharmacists can assess and develop a smoking cessation program that is catered to you! Where appropriate and in consultation with your family physician, pharmacists can prescribe prescription treatments and offer non-prescription treatment options to help you quit smoking. Speak with a pharmacist to learn more.
Specialty compounding
- Searching for a compounding pharmacy? We prepare specialized products that are not commercially available to meet your specific needs.
Compression stocking fitting
- Suffering from varicose veins or tired, achy legs? Compression stockings are a special type of hosiery that may help to prevent and treat certain venous disorders, in addition to providing relief from leg symptoms like aching, fatigue, and swelling. Speak with one of our Certified Fitters, who will fit you with the right compression stockings for maximum comfort, durability, and effectiveness.
Medication adherence packs
- Take the guesswork out of taking your medication. Blister packaging has the day and time clearly labeled for each dose, and is suited for anyone who:
- Takes multiple medications and/or supplements each day
- Takes medication at various times throughout the day
