Introduction & Eligibility

Community Psychiatric Services for the Elderly (CPSE) promotes the mental health of seniors and seeks to maximize their level of functioning in the community. It is a resource for family physicians, other health care professionals and service providers. The team includes psychiatrists, social workers, nurses and occupational therapists.

Eligibility

  • 65 years or older
  • Mental health concerns
  • Live within the service area - from York Mills to St. Clair and from Avenue Road to the Don Valley
  • Benefit from in-home assessment
  • Usually referred through family doctor
