Services

What We Offer


Occupational therapy treatment area is a quiet space where patients work on their individual treatment goals.

Wheelchair accessible putting green is a three holed course for walker and wheelchair patients to revive or learn how to golf within a supportive environment. 

Wheelchair accessible ramp recently installed at the Geriatric Day Hospital, offers a senior friendly entrance our program. 

One of our female patients flips over a 4 of hearts card in our activity room.

Activity room offers patients a social environment for lunches, educational sessions as well as a quiet place to restore oneself between sessions.

 

One of our patients works out in our gym, with help from Geriatric Services staff.

Physiotherapy gym offers a wide range of equipment designed to provide a tailored regime of exercises for each patient.

Recreation therapy treatment area is a bright studio space with room to try a variety of leisure pursuits, as well as to participate in many of the discussion groups available at the day hospital.

Therapeutic garden offers outdoor gardening programs for Geriatric Day Hospital patients, as well as a space for recreation therapy. The three wheelchair accessible garden beds, perennial beds, planters and water garden offer a therapeutic site for rehabilitation. Walkways allow for walking programs, seating and lunch areas offer respite for patients.
