Research & Clinical Trials

Our research is focused on the epidemiology of skin diseases. This critical data is lacking in Canada and policy is hampered by that lack. Our team is having an impact with excellent grant success and publications.

Clinical research in the area of autoimmune blistering disease and severe skin reactions has resulted our division being prominent in peer-reviewed  publications. This recognition also supports the growth and development of fellows in our Advanced Medical Dermatology Fellowship, attracting fellows from around the world.

We are continually working to improve therapies and the safe use of medications. This work translates into many areas of research. New treatments for disease such as pemphigus and psoriasis have been pioneered in our clinics.

Visit our research showcase to learn more about our researchers and their work.
