Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty that treats patients to try and correct form and function. Plasticos is an ancient word meaning molding or shaping. Plastic surgery includes the fields of burn surgery, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, reconstructive surgery, breast surgery, oncology (cancer) surgery and aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery. Our patients receive exemplary care.

We specialize in the following:

Sunnybrookʼs Division of Plastic Surgery is part of the University of Toronto Division of Plastic Surgery. We provide exceptional teaching to medical students, residents and fellows and are actively involved at the international level with continuing medical education. Our research interests also cross the spectrum of plastic surgery with national and international funding.
