Cystoscopy test

In order to diagnose bladder cancer, patients need to undergo a test that involves inserting a video telescope into the bladder. This is done by inserting a fiber-optic tube into the urinary passage way (urethra) to access the bladder. It is done using local anesthetic, with a minimal amount of discomfort.

This test is performed by our urology division.
