Treatment options
Newly diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer
- In partnership with Toronto East General Hospital, the Time to Treat Clinic expedites diagnosis and staging, and ensures multidisciplinary management of patients with lung cancer. We often collaborate with their thoracic surgeons who provide surgical care.
- We offer targeted radiation therapies and chemotherapies.
Resected lung cancer
- We offer adjuvant chemotherapy in the post-surgical setting.
- We offer access to clinical trials.
Locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer
- Patients are seen in our multidisciplinary PERLA (Patients with Early Resected & Locally Advanced Lung Cancer) Clinic by surgeons, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists to discuss coordinated care and an individual treatment plan.
- We have expertise in concurrent chemo-radiation and surgical management.
non-small cell lung cancer that has spread (metastasized) to other parts of the body
- We offer access to national and international clinical trials for access to innovative and novel therapeutic options.
- All non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer patients have tumour testing for mutations, and if needed, have access to orally targeted therapies.
- For squamous non-small cell lung cancer patients, we offer access to immunotherapeutic drugs.
