Flu and COVID vaccine clinics 2023

Important notices:

  • Flu and COVID vaccine clinics are done for 2023

Getting the flu and COVID vaccines are the best ways to prevent the flu and COVID infection, and reduce the risk of complications.

This year, we are offering both the flu vaccine and COVID vaccines at our on-site clinics in Family Practice. All clinics are by appointment only.

If you are 65 years of age and over, and have already received your flu vaccine at the pharmacy, please let us know by sending an email to infoatsafht@sunnybrook.ca.

  • Moderna (SPIKEVAX XBB.1.5) vaccine (newest formulation as of Fall 2023)
    • This is the only type of COVID vaccine we will have available at our clinics
  • Eligibility → all patients over 6 months of age
    • Appointments may be booked for any patient over 6 months of age, however Ministry of Health eligibility criteria may change by the dates of the clinics. If so, we will have to abide by their requirements. Note: Please check the website for any updates before arriving for your appointment.
    • Check the Ontario COVID Vaccine information website to read the most up-to-date information about the vaccine and patient eligibility. Note: Some of this information may be outdated, but when new information is released by the Ministry of Health, it will be found on this page.
  • Timing → 6 months since your last COVID vaccine
    • The minimum interval is 3 months since your last COVID vaccine (a longer interval between COVID vaccine doses results in in a longer-lasting immune response and higher vaccine effectiveness)
