Family Practice Flu, RSV and COVID vaccine clinics 2025

Getting vaccinated is the best way to prevent the flu, RSV and COVID infections, and reduce the risk of complications.

We are pleased to be able to offer flu, RSV and COVID vaccines for eligible patients at our on-site clinics in Family Practice. All clinics are by appointment only. NO WALK-INS

If you are 65 years of age and over, and have already received your flu vaccine at the pharmacy, please let us know by sending an email to infoatsafht@sunnybrook.ca

Who:

Sunnybrook Family Practice (SAFHT) patients ONLY, 6 months of age and older

What vaccines:

Please note: all of these vaccines can be administered together at the same visit

Flu vaccines

COVID vaccine

• Moderna (Spikevax) Omicron LP.8.1 vaccine (newest 2025-2026 formulation)
• 6 months of age and older
• Timing > 3 months since your last COVID vaccine or COVID infection
• Children 6 months to 4 years of age who are receiving the COVID vaccine for the first time should receive 2 doses at least 8 weeks apart.

RSV vaccine for Adults

• Arexvy (Respiratory Syncytial Virus Vaccine Recombinant, Adjuvanted)
• Publicly-funded for adults 75 years of age and older, and adults 60 to 74 years of age who are at higher risk of severe illness (i.e. residents of long-term care or retirement homes, dialysis patients, transplant recipients, patients with glomerulonephritis (GN) who are moderately to severely immunocompromised, people experiencing homelessness, Indigenous community members) who have never received a RSV vaccine in the past.
• No need for a booster dose at this time. If you received an RSV vaccine in the past, you do not need another dose this season.
• Private purchase of RSV vaccines: If you do not meet the criteria for a publicly-funded vaccine, but are over the age of 50 and would like to receive the RSV vaccine, please book an appointment with your primary care provider to discuss. People that do not meet the criteria and want the RSV vaccine must get a prescription from their provider and pay for it out-of-pocket at a pharmacy. The cost may be covered if you have private drug coverage.

Ages 65+ only

• Wednesday, October 29, 2025, 9:30am – 12 pm noon

All ages, 6 months and older

• Thursday, October 23, 2025, 5:30 – 8pm
• Saturday, October 25, 2025, 10am – 2pm
• Thursday, October 30, 2025, 5:30 – 8pm

• Family Practice, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, A-wing Room 100
• FREE PARKING at A-wing parking lot and M-wing Main Garage 1 lot *parking passes available at vaccine check-in*
• A-wing entrance will be open and accessible

How:

Vaccines will be given BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Schedule your flu, RSV and COVID vaccines online using the links below.

Important requirements:

• BY APPOINTMENT ONLY – we will not accept drop-ins
• HEALTH CARD – please have health cards for all patients receiving a vaccine
• STAY HOME IF SICK - If you or your child has symptoms like fever, cough, congestion, etc. please cancel your appointment.
• MASKS - Masking may be mandatory for those 2 years and older if hospital policy changes at time of vaccine clinics
• BRING YOUR OWN SNACKS and DRINKS – we will not be providing these for safety reasons
• ENTRANCE – A-wing entrance will be open and accessible for these clinics, as will M-wing main entrance to the hospital.
