Your nurse works in partnership with you and your family physician. Registered primary care nurses with experience in assisting families to stay healthy and supporting those with acute illness and chronic conditions are usually involved in some aspect of your visit, such as history taking, health teaching and/or performing procedures. Your nurse is also available to offer advice over the telephone during office hours.
