(Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Our 2017 schedule includes several regular weekend provider courses. We can also provide "customized private courses" to include the standards of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and the American Heart Association.

The 2015 Guidelines, as set by the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation and the American Heart Association, were implemented in October 2015. 100% of our PALS Faculty has been fully updated to those Guidelines and they are included in all instruction at our courses.

PLEASE NOTE: It is a requirement of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada that all students taking PALS must now have taken a Heart & Stroke Basic Life Support Course (BLS) prior to their PALS Provider Course. The BLS certification must be valid within the past 12 months maximum, otherwise your PALS certification could be put on hold temporarily. For more information, visit the Heart & Stroke website.

Our courses are taught by award-winning instructors with real world experience, who do this for a living. The faculty is composed of physicians, nurses, dentists, paramedics and physician assistants from varying disciplines and who all work in high acuity areas or are professional educators.

All fees include the latest edition of the PALS Provider Manual with the 2010 Guidelines, which will be mailed directly to your mailing address upon receipt of your payment.

* If you already have the manual, or have access to one, then the fees are reduced.  Please understand that you do need to review the manual prior to the course. Course fee includes complimentary Broselow Pediatric Emergency Tape which cost $45.00

Re-Take Course for Free
An unsuccessful trainee is offered a one-time opportunity to re-take the course within 4-8 weeks of the initial course with no additional fee.

Mailing rates

  • Out-Of-Province mailings within Canada: please include an additional mailing charge of $8.00 
  • U.S. mailings: please add $12.00 to your payment to cover shipping charges.
  • Overseas applicants: please add $40.00 to your payment to cover shipping charges.


If you would like to save money on parking costs, there is a new Green P Parking Lot located near Sunnybrook's Bayview Campus, at Bayview Avenue and Dawlish Avenue. It costs just $2.00 per half hour and just $12 for the day. Payments can be made in cash or credit at the ticket dispensers, or you can download the Green P Parking App and make payments straight from your phone.
