We are emphasizing nursing specialty certification to help ensure there are no skills gaps. Whether they are in the starting phase of their career or more advance, there will be certification that meets the various needs. We know there is a shortage and a desire to see increasing numbers of entering the field or enhancing capabilities.

The initiative takes a two-pronged approach:

• Providing widely accessible learning opportunities for staff at any point in their career; The goal is to operationalize the learning and increase specialization to enable confidence; increase capabilities and competencies of current nurses.
• And second - to attract new staff, focusing on skilled individuals internationally while also expanding broader than roles like nursing.
