Family Navigation Project recognized internationally for compassionate and collaborative care

Sunnybrook’s Family Navigation Project (FNP) is a recipient of the 2022 Schwartz Center’s Corman IMPACT Honors, which “celebrates healthcare members who are making a transformational impact by creating programs or initiatives that promote compassionate, collaborative care within their organization or system.”

FNP has been selected as one of four programs from around the world being recognized for The Corman IMPACT (Innovative Member Programs Advancing Compassion and Teamwork) Honors.

FNP provides expert navigation of the mental health and addictions system for youth, ages 13 to 26, and their families, who are living in the Greater Toronto Area. FNP works alongside youth and their families to help them find and get connected to the right support and care that they need.

“This is indeed a great honour and truly reflects FNP’s commitment to compassionate and collaborative care,” says Sugy Kodeeswaran, Executive Director of FNP.

On September 22, 2022, Liisa Kuuter, FNP Program Manager, will join IMPACT honorees on a virtual panel discussion to highlight FNP’s leading work and impact on young people and families.
