Student for Application Development - MyChart Program - Temporary Casual (221232)

We currently have a Casual opportunity for a Student for Application Development in the MyChart Program at our Bayview Campus.

Hours of Work:

Weekdays: Days, 4-8hrs; As per schedule

Weekends: Days, 4-8 hrs; As per schedule

Summary of Duties:

  • Build, and maintain web applications
  • Participate in code and architecture reviews
  • Confirm program operation with testing; modifyinh program logic and performance tuning while mainiting correctness
  • Closely work with the QA team members to ensure high quality deliverables
  • Provides support by ensuring stability of application and addressing and resolving business issues in a timely manner

Qualifications/Skills

  • Working experience in Web App development
  • Have published one or more apps on Web/Internet
  • Experience in integrating with secure RESTful API’s
  • Working knowledge of the general web app landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies
  • Works with input and requirements from the Product Management team
  • Implement product features within a team using best practices to meet product or solution deliverables
  • Refactors code to increase operating efficiency and extensibility and/or adapt programs to new requirements
  • Implements reusable unit tests to ensure the integrity of on-going product quality
  • Participates in stress tests, load tests, performance tests, making recommendations to improve performance and scalability
  • Prepares software packages and documentation for deployment that adhere to the defined standard deployment policies.
