Pulmonary Function Technologist - Pulmonary Function Lab - Regular Full-Time  (222436)

We currently have a Regular Full-Time opportunity for a Pulmonary Function Technologist in the Pulmonary Function Lab at our Bayview campus.

Hours of Work: Weekday: Days, 8 hrs; As per schedule

Summary of Duties:

· Conduct all tests that are offered in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory.

· Set up and carry out calibration/quality control of testing equipment.

· Follow the laboratory’s standardized procedures and practices.

· Maintain all documentation, records and supply inventory.

· Ensure confidentiality and safety during patient testing.

· Perform related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

· Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist, RCPT(P) - An active member in good standing with the Canadian Association of

· Cardiopulmonary Technologist.

· B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or related disciplines

· Minimum 1 year experience

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills, problem solving and time management skills

· Ability to adapt to change, innovate and be flexible in an ever-changing environment
