The Patient Administrative Associate (PAA) is responsible for co-ordination of patient flow and patient activities; administrative services for patient care unit; maintenance of patient records, staffing, scheduling, payroll and administrative support to patient care unit (supplies, bills, appointment).


  • One year of community college - Medical Terminology course preferred
  • One year of Administrative/Business experience required, in a health care setting preferred
  • Demonstrated excellent Patient-Focused Care/Customer Service behavior
  • Knowledge of software packages such as Word/Windows, Care Visibility, BMS, ordering supplies through SAP, EPT
  • Typing at 40 net words per minute or keyboarding at 106 net keystrokes per minute
  • Ability to organize work effectively, and work at a fast pace in an unpredictable environment
  • Advanced oral communication and telephone skills
  • Ability to process diet orders and MD orders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
