Common Symptoms

• Pain in the ball of the foot
• Pain can be described as dull, burning, bruised, or sore; may feel like you have pebbles in your shoe
• Increased pain while standing or walking, especially barefoot
• Swelling of the area
• Heavy calluses across metatarsal heads
