Road Repairs at Bayview Campus

The primary roadways at Sunnybrook’s Bayview campus will undergo maintenance and repair in a phased approach beginning on Tuesday, October 15 with completion targeted in Spring 2025

The repair work will primarily involve resurfacing and fixing curbs where necessary. These changes are essential to enhancing safety and maintaining infrastructure.

Projected Timeline:

The project will be completed in two parts. The first part consists of six phases with initial repairs to Wellness Way (north/south) beginning on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

The subsequent phases will include repairs to Armistice Drive, part of Veterans Hill Trail and Lifesaving Drive.

The second part of the project aimed at improving the middle segment of Armistice Drive, is scheduled for next spring (2025).

These timelines are approximate and subject to change.

Impact:

To minimize disruption, the roadwork will be conducted in the evenings where possible, allowing traffic to flow from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM in one lane, with flag-persons on-site to direct traffic.

With one lane always open, TTC, Toronto Paramedic Services, Toronto Police and Toronto Fire Services will not be impeded from using the roadways.
