It is designed for patients who are seeking substance abuse treatment for the first time, or those who have recently relapsed and are not connected with any substance abuse treatment service. Patients do not require a referral from a health care provider to come to the Clinic. The only medications that are prescribed are those that treat withdrawal or reduce cravings for the substance used.

Services Offered at the Clinic:

Assessment of substance use concerns and review of treatment options
Brief individual counseling and psychotherapy
Management of acute alcohol and opioid withdrawal
Outpatient tapering of patients on opioids or benzodiazepines
Medication-assisted treatment of alcohol, opioid and cannabis use disorders
Education on overdose prevention and use of naloxone
Referral to community supports and treatment programs

You are welcome to attend and/or refer your family and friends.
