Marlene Robinson, RN, BScN has retired

January 5, 2016

Marlene Robinson, RN, BScN has retired after nearly 44 years in the department.

Marlene has the distinction of out-lasting all others before her and during her time in Family Practice at Sunnybrook. On her team, she has outlasted Drs. Janet Ross, Fred Demanuele, Connie Townsend, Lance Ceresne, Laurie Dusseault and several locums and now leaves Drs. Debbie Elman and Jeremy Rezmovitz to try and break her record! Marlene came to us from the Hospital for Sick Children in February of 1972 and retired at the end of December. During those years, she provided excellent patient care as well as teaching thousands of family medicine residents, nursing and medical students. A luncheon was held in her honour on Dec 23rd and a plaque recognizing her service and contribution has been mounted on the South team.
