The Ontario Sleep Health Study
YOU can play a key role in building this knowledge and learn something about your own sleep by participating in the Ontario Sleep Health Study.
Sleep is essential to health
The Ontario Sleep Health Study will study the sleep and biological rhythms of 4,000 Ontarians.
The goal is to understand better the impact of sleep disruption on the common health problems faced by Ontarians, including diabetes, heart disease, stroke and Alzheimer's disease, and to understand better the impact of our genes on our sleep and circadian rhythms.
This may help us design social, environmental, occupational or medical interventions to lessen the impact of sleep disruption and deprivation on the health of Ontarians.
