  • Young investigator appointed at the Assistant Professor level 3 years ago at the University of Western Ontario, and London Health Sciences Centre.
  • Fellow of Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine.
  • Completed his doctoral studies in the leading Medical Biophysics Department at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
  • Previous Computer and Software Engineering experience attracting interest from vendors in collaboration in developing advanced scientific software for clinical and research use.
  • Pioneering research in the design of software for automated analysis of myocardial perfusion SPECT and continuing work in this area. The developed software is currently used in several European Centers.
  • Recent peer-reviewed funding from the Medical Research Council of Canada in the cardiac imaging field.
  • 18 peer-reviewed-papers, 9 conference proceedings and 35 abstracts published or submitted over the last 5 years, many involving international collaborations.
  • Growing national and international recognition in nuclear cardiology demonstrated by role as invited speaker at numerous events and international collaborator with several universities.
  • Interest in translating basic research to development works to clinical products demonstrated by previous industry funded collaborations.
