Dr. Michael Bernstein graduated from University of Western Ontario medical school in 2002 and completed his Internal Medicine as well as his Gastroenterology residency at the University of Toronto. He joined the Division of Gastroenterology as a Clinician -Teacher in 2009. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Toronto.
His clinical interests include hereditary colon cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. He has completed further training in patient safety and quality improvement. His research interests are related to hereditary colon cancer as well as endoscopic quality of care.
