The focus of Dr. Galanaud’s research is in the area of venous thrombosis, using methodology like systematic reviews, prospective outcome studies, medico-economic studies and therapeutic trials. His focus is in four main areas: distal deep vein thrombosis, superficial vein thrombosis, post-thrombotic syndrome and pulmonary embolism.
